The club asks the court to cancel the seizure of its accounts
Paris Saint-Germain is countersuing the €55 million claim its former player, Kylian Mbappé, is claiming. The club has requested the annulment of the seizure of its accounts.
Paris Saint-Germain asked the Paris Judicial Court on Monday to annul the €55 million precautionary seizure that Kylian Mbappé had placed on his accounts in April for unpaid salaries and bonuses by his former club.
In early April, Mbappé, now at Real Madrid, obtained the right to place a precautionary seizure of approximately €55 million, pending decisions in other proceedings. But on Monday, during a hearing before the sentencing judge, PSG’s lawyers considered that Kylian Mbappé “has not provided sufficient evidence of an apparent claim and has failed to demonstrate any threat to recovery.”
