Injury Blow: Ishan Kishan Ruled Out After Suffering Foot Injury

Cricket Team India’s plans have taken another hit ahead of the upcoming series, as Ishan Kishan, who was expected to step in for the recovering Rishabh Pant, has been ruled out due to injury.

The left-handed wicketkeeper-batter suffered a nasty fall recently, which required stitches on his left foot. Currently, his left ankle is in a plaster, and he’s been deemed unfit to play. This unexpected setback has now forced the selectors back to the drawing board as they scramble to find a new replacement behind the stumps.

Kishan’s absence leaves a noticeable gap, especially given the cricket team’s already limited options in the wicketkeeping department.
